Removing users from a campaign

I own a gym and some of our members pay in advance for their memberships. I launched a campaign with a series of emails that are automatically sent before and after their expiration date. I have a custom field with their expiration date. When members renew their membership, I update the custom field to reflect the new date change.

When I first launched the campaign, this step would remove the member from the rest of the campaign, but now the member stays in the campaign. That means the member keep getting emails telling them their membership is expired even though they have renewed and I changed their expiration date.
