Dynamic content testing issues

When I test dynamic content in the dynamic content area it appears to be working. But when I go into the campaign email and click TEST then send a test to that same email address the liquid content doesn’t show-up.

Is anyone else having this issue and if so, how are you testing to make sure that your liquid content is working correctly?

Using the ’test’ feature often doesn’t get the results you want.
I just set up a ’test’ tag that will trigger the sequence with the email with the dynamic content, create a dummy account, and run it through that way a few times.
