Can I start a campaign from a broadcast email?

I joined a partner program and as part of it they sent me an excel spreadsheet with the member Information. The members are who I market to. I want to send them all an email and begin the sequence but not sure if a broadcast email can be entered into a campaign. I am new and have never setup a campaign yet…but am familiar with how they work.
