Webform HTML slows down website

Hey guys,

My employer uses Infusionsoft’s webforms for lead acquisition on our website.

We’ve recently discovered that the HTML code for the webforms that we use has been slowing down our website load speed substantially.

After removing any and all Infusionsoft HTML code from the website, the load speed went from about 13 seconds down to 2.5 seconds.

I already contacted Infusionsoft customer service about this, and am waiting for a reply from their developers, but the rep suggested I post about it here and see if anyone has any insight.

Also, I will post the screenshots of the speed tests and analytics if anyone would like to take a look at it.

These are of the website with Infusionsoft.

Hi @Mark_Pieciak,

I would baseline this first. By that I mean, setup a webform that has only a few basic fields and not all the images (representing external links and points of delay). See what your speeds look like at that point. It may be that it’s more of a resource problem than specific to the actual HTML.
