Do merge fields show up accurately in test emails? I’m trying to merge a currency field and it keeps coming up $0.00 even though I know there is a number in the field.
If you’re testing with the test button then there is not context to populate it with unless the contact record of the user (probably you) has that information on their record. The most accurate way to test an email is to send the contact through the actual sequence that send it so the email has context.
Thanks for your response. I do have the information on my record - I added to test the sequence- but it did not populate. In the end I sent myself the email from inside the contact record and that showed the correct value.
