SSL Handshake error

I have had a perl script interfacing to API for long time. As of yesterday started getting this error:

500 SSL connect attempt failed with unknown error 14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure) category:5 site:https://integration.keap.com/

Why is your API script hitting the community url instead of the api url?
