Recently I’ve been receiving a lot of web forms filled out where the name field is filled with random characters, such as BBMSalDoWhHx, or CcGBpFarqKoV.
Always some free email service. At first I didn’t think much about it until I had a rash of these unsubscribe with feedback.
Of course, I’m thinking these are some sort of computer generated bot signups, but I would think they would never actually open an email, but in looking record to record, some of them do open an email, and some don’t.
Does anyone have any intel on what could be going on, and the best practice to combat this?
