I am setting up referral tracking links for our affiliates. Is it possible to set-up a referral tracking link for a url that isn’t our company’s website? For example, I want to share a tracking link for a Facebook Event URL, so our affiliates can send traffic directly to a Facebook event. However, it would seem logical that this WON’T work to create the cookies for an eventual purchase of a product on our our website. So, my thinking is that we may need to create a landing page on our website, which has the link to the Facebook event page. Is this correct?
Hi, @Nolin_Veillard. The destination of the URL doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is that the link is “clicked” and cookie is created.
