How do I promote a free product without purchasers having to fill in their credit card details?

I have a promotion where clients get a 100% discount. But they still have to fill in credit card details. Its very frustrating, so most wont do it. If they use paypal they get charged a fee. Thanks

Hey Dr. Shirley,
why don’t you use webform to capture their contacts? That way you can only use fields you intend to capture.
If I am missing something out, let me know.
