Horizontal contact

what is a horizontal contact?

Any context? Where are you seeing or hearing this term?

Neal rec’d an email notification with the subject line: New Submission
from Horizontal Contact

This person requested a report that’s available from us. I was thinking
that since it was an indirect inquiry that’s what horizontal meant.
Thoughts?

Gotcha - I’m guessing that it’s being truncated. It probably says “New Submission from Horizontal Contact Us Form”, or something of that nature.

“New Submission” is how the email notifications look for web form submissions, or land page notifications; and then presumably it’d say the name of the actual form that was submitted - in this case I’m guessing there is a contact us page on your website? And maybe a horizontal form on that page?

If so, then this is probably just a notification that someone submitted that particular form.
