Is there a way to generate commissions without using the referral partner add on? We just have a small sales team and we want to test it out. I am wondering if there is a work-around? thanks.
As long as you are tracking the lead source, you can run a report and filter by lead source.
So, for example, if you have 3 sales people and want to track their sales, you would just make sure you have 3 lead sources (one for each sales person). Then, at the end of the month, run a sales report and use a filter of ‘lead source = “ [salesperson1]. That will show you their sales and you can pay commissions accordingly.

Lead Sources are configured under ‘marketing — settings — lead source’
Then, it is an option that is right under their name and company on the main CRM contact data page. Just drop down and choose which sales person.
